Ward was the very first daughter born in MonroeLouisiana, on the 15th of April, 1976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. As a student in secondary school, Ward began at Ouachita High School. She was later moved onto River Oaks High School during the summer right after her Junior year. Following her graduation, she went to Northeast Louisiana University. Ward left school at the age of 13 and moved to New York so that she was able to begin modeling. In the years following she decided to take up acting. In 1970she first appeared in an uncredited part in the soap opera All My Children and was later cast in the short-lived NBC Prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. In the year 1996, she was in the role as Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. She began her quest for a movie career starring as her psychological Brittany Foster in the erotic film The In Crowd. In theaters the film was not a success, but it did have some popularity on both DVD and cable. Ward then played an important supporting role in Shallow Hal, a hit film. Ward also was a guest on numerous TV shows as well as direct-to-DVD movies. In 2009she was cast as Chloe Kmet, the mother of a girl who is in the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. Her personal life was a bit more complicated. got married to the producer David C. Robinson and she had a son called Cameron together with him.

She has gained immense popularity on social media with her blackhead and pimple removal videos. Also, she is well-known as Dr. Pimple popper and has more than 13 million followers on both the You Tube, Instagram and Facebook pages. The TLC television series Dr. Pimple Popper has included her in all six seasons. In addition, she launched her own line of skincare products, and she has written an enjoyable, comprehensive and illustrated skin care guide book too.
